Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer II

As a QA Engineer you will have the opportunity to work with leading data quality/testing tools in the cloud, support a broad range of customers, and develop automated testing processes leveraging Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools. You must be comfortable with development of unit tests, end to end tests, integration tests, and other testing processes.

Candidates must be a US Citizen and are subject to a background check and unannounced drug testing requirements. DOE or DOD experience is preferred, and a Q level clearance is preferred.

Position allows remote work, within occasional travel (<15%) to client sites.

Responsibilities:

· Develop unit tests to validate the functionality of software

· Work with C2 Labs DevOps personnel to integrate testing into CI/CD processes

· Develop end-to-end testing that exercises the User Interface (UI) of applications

· Work with clients and developers to design and develop test for each part of the applications

· Development support to work on issues and develop solutions to product bugs

· Develop test data for a variety of personas and use cases to facilitate automated testing and customer
demos

· Perform manual testing processes, efficiently document results, and communicate routinely with the
development team

· Troubleshoot product bugs and provide telemetry and debug information to the development team for
remediation

· Document issues for remediation within GitLab and track progress over time

· Ability to learn Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools for sophisticated automation of repetitive tasks;
including manual testing processes and other business-related functions within C2 Labs

· Position may require periodic travel of up to 15% to support customer projects and deliverables

Requirements:

· Ability to develop sophisticated test cases, scenarios, and data sets

· Experience with integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines is preferred

· Ability to develop code in HTML and modern Javascript frameworks

· Experience with Git-based configuration control systems for source code management

· Experience working in Agile projects including various Sprint/Scrum related activities is preferred

· Ability to effectively document and communicate test results

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Lifelong learner, independent thinker, and competitive personality that enjoys taking on new automated
testing challenges

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years’
experience (or a minimum of 7 years’ experience if no bachelor's degree)

· Must be a US Citizen, able to pass a background check, and may be subject to random workplace drug
testing

· DOE or DOD experience is preferred

· Q level clearance is preferred

· Must be able to demonstrate a prior portfolio of testing work and/or software engineering skill sufficient to
demonstrate technical prowess during the interview
